NAES 2016: ISSUES AND PERSPECTIVE
First and foremost, I seize this medium to congratulate Comr. Marshal Henry Udoh(the traitor and betrayer, without apology), for taking care of National Association of Edemaya Students, NAES-Worldwide for the past one year as the president.
I also want to thank God-Almighty for the lives of NAESites in various schools across the federation of Nigeria. God has been faithful to us, and I return all glory to Him.
It could be recalled, that sometime last year 2015, there was power tussle as it regards NAES presidency. At a particular point, a certain candidate was disqualified without "genuine" reason, by a group that was given birth to by NAES called Edemaya Progressive Association, even though the group now claims that NAES was given birth to by Progressive. The issue, if I may even want to concern myself is not which gave birth to which, but the way and manner the Progressive has come to be dictating for, and imposing NAES presidential candidate on the entire Edemaya students is my major concern. As I said earlier, that a particular aspirant was unjustly disqualified last time by the so called Progressive, the said scenario raised it ugly head again on the 26th December, 2016. This year's own was a do-or-die affair!
Between Edemaya Progressive and The Invincibles
About a week to 2016 NAES worldwide election, there was rumour making round that Uyo Front, officially known as Edemaya Progressive Association, is boasting around that it must plant it loyal boy, Comrade Daniel Obo as the president of NAES since Uyo front is the major sponsor of NAES. But, just like the indomitable two has been doing it, it wasn't much of an headache to them. So, the both parties started to strategize. There was even rumour making the rounds that even if it requires human life, that Progressive has vowed that Daniel Obo must be the next NAES president come 26th December, 2016. True to their word, the outgoing president, Marshal Henry Udo, in conjunction with the Electoral Committee and the Progressive rigged the election to favour Daniel Obo.
...Progressive Rigs NAES election
Seeing that the indomitable two has align with other Aluta forces to make sure that Uyo does not have it way, the Progressive sent one Uduak George from Ikot Ubo Akama and Patrick Akpan from Ikot Obio Ekpe respectively to "oversee" the election. Before voting commenced, the Eleco Chairman, Comr. John Sunday Akpadiaha from Ukan Akama, had announced that 98 students were accredited, and after the election, he also announced that 61 students voted. After counting the total votes, it was exactly 61, and after sorting out, Comr. Victor Essiet scored a total of 31votes, while Comr. Daniel Obo scored a total of 43votes as was announced by Eleco chairman. The question now is: from whence cometh the 13 extra votes that gave Daniel Obo an edge over Victor Essiet? Because, even though I'm not too good in mathematics, but elementary math tells me that 31+43=74. So, how and where did the 13votes appear from? This is the same question I asked those agents from Progressive who came to oversee the election, and I couldn't get an answer! I personally asked Comr. Ubong Micah to do the calculation and explain to me more, may be I couldn't understand the logic in the calculation, but he couldn't explain. But, there's no need beating round the bush. During the counting of votes, something happened. During the sorting process, the Daniel Obo camp had seen that Victor Essiet was leading, so, one of his supporters started throwing stones into where the votes were being sorted, and the people were scared and dispersed. Recalled that, Comr. Uduak George was with already used ballot papers, so when the stone was thrown, and people ran for their dear lives, Uduak George gave the votes to another of their supporter, whose identity I couldn't recognize since the place was dark, and I was a little far from them both, to include in the bucket that was used as ballot box. One funny thing happened immediately after that, he(Uduak George) left the venue of the election; so when I was asking where the extra 13votes came from, he was not there, and his counterpart couldn't answer the 1million question, even till tomorrow!
In a nutshell, Progressive sent them to come and wrestle power with the indomitable two, but they couldn't, so the representatives resorted to rigging the election. To prove that Edemaya Progressive Association, a group which it members are using it as a platform for circular politics, actually wanted Daniel Obo, and had rigged the election to favour Obo, after the sham called election, some group of students under the aegis of Concern Students of Edemaya, protested the outcome of the election, while there was a mediation at the residence of one Hon. Friday Jonathan, one Kufre Ufot, who's a front liner in Progressive sent a squad of Mobile Police men to come and arrest the protesting students, and when the police men arrived, they said it raw that they were sent by Surv. Kufre Ufot; even after the National president of Mboho Edemaya had quelled the inferno, the police men still followed those students to where they went to have some refreshment, at least, since morning! Now, who needs a witch-doctor, a soothsayer, or a diviner to come and tell me that Kufre Ufot and Progressive didn't have a hand in the NAES 2016 presidential election!
I know some persons would ask for more explanation, while some would get angry at this piece, but anybody's action doesn't really matter, the truth is always bitter! I can't be intimidated, or oppressed! Anyone can take me to court that I've wrongly accused him or her, I'll defend this even with the last drop of my blood!
Aluta Continua, Victoria Acerta!
