PRESIDENT BUHARI VISITS LAGOS TOMORROW
Lagos, Nigeria's commercial centre will stand still tomorrow for President Muhammadu Buhari, as he begins a two-day working visit to Lagos State.
Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Steve Ayorinde, in a statement said the visit is the first since President Buhari assumed office on May 29 last year.
According to the statement, the President, during the visit, would formally inaugurate the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) Rescue Unit, at Cappa, near Oshodi.
The Rescue Unit was built by the State government to ensure prompt and swift response to emergency situations.
Before returning to Aso Rock Villa, President Buhari would also inaugurate the newly-constructed Ago Palace Way in Okota, Isolo, and pay homage to Oba of Lagos, Rilwan.
ThePresident would be hosted to a reception at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos, same day.
